NHS Price List
Charges for NHS Dentistry from 1 April 2018
You will pay one of the three charges below:
Band 1: £21.60
This charge will include an examination, diagnosis and preventive care. If necessary, this will include X-rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment. Urgent and out-of-hours care will also cost £21.60.
Band 2: £59.10
This charge includes all necessary treatment covered by the £21.60 charge PLUS additional treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment and extractions.
Band 3: £256.50
This charge includes all necessary treatment covered by the £21.60 and £59.10 charges PLUS more complex procedures such as crowns, bridges and dentures.
All charges apply to an overall course of treatment, and not the individual items within the course of treatment. You will only pay one charge for each course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it.
Some people, such as under 18′s and pregnant women, are exempt from charges. Just ask any member of our team for more information before you have any treatment with us.
